The EICWS was formally wound up as a Scottish charity in 2008, and this website is now an archive website. 

The Edinburgh International Centre for Spirituality and Peace, EICSP, 2007 - , continues the spiritual work previously undertaken by the former Edinburgh International Centre for World Spiritualities, EICWS, 2000-2008. See www.eicsp.org for details of the spiritual work of the EICSP, and www.mesp.org.uk for details for the annual Edinburgh International Festival of Middle Eastern Spirituality and Peace, MESP.

Jean Vanier is visiting Scotland at the invitation of the Middle East Festival, and he gave the 2007 Middle East Festival Lecture at the Usher Hall on Thursday 1 March 2007.
